With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Collinge (Chester, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Christine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Christine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Matthew Shafferly and June Shell Shafferly; and her sisters, Diane Dressel and Kathy Richards. She is survived by: her spouse Wood "Woody" Collinge, III; her stepmother Anna Shaffery; her children, Channing, Troy, Shawn Collinge and Edwa Collinge; and her siblings, Steve, Bill Shafferly and April Shafferly. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
