It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Leroy Stokes of Chester, South Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Coland Stokes; and his brothers, Lonnie Newell, Kenneth Stokes, Billy Joe Stokes, Robert Lee Stokes, Barry Dean Stokes and Joseph Coland Stokes, Jr..
He is survived by: his mother Stella Canty Stokes; and his siblings, Sandra Stokes Black (George Bland) of Chester, SC and Glenn Edward Stokes (Faye) of Lexington, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.
