He was predeceased by: his parents, John East Jr. and Ruby Deese East; and his sister Brenda Gail. He is survived by: his daughter Claire East of New Jersey; and his brother Michael East (Jane) of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
