It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Austin of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse J. Austin, Sr.; her parents, Mary Wylie Wilson and Fraizer Clark Wilson; her son Jesse J. Austin, Jr.; and her siblings, Henry "Sonny Boy" Wilson, Grady Lee Wilson, Richard C. Wilson and Ruby Mae Mobley.
She is survived by: her daughter Marie A. Williford (Richard Hollis); her grandchildren, Jesse Williford, Sr. and Lacie Noelle Williford (Patrick Brown); and her great grandchildren, Jesse Williford, Jr. and Zamorah Brown.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Orrs Baptist Church, 1286 Lancaster Hwy., Chester, SC 29706.
