It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geneva Crain of Chester, South Carolina, born in Williston, South Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Hiller "Hilly" W. Porter; and her son Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Crain of Charleston, SC and Carol Ann Compton (Kell) of Mayesville, SC; her sisters-in-law, Barbara and Ann Porter; her grandchildren, Spencer Wetmore (Burns) of Folly Beach, SC, Alexander Compton of Sumter, SC and Sara Lee (Justin) of Maysville, SC; and her great grandchildren, Lola Kate Wetmore and Piper Compton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
