He is survived by: his wife Beth Gaddy; his children, Chris Gaddy (Kathi) and Kathryn Gaddy of Chester, SC; his stepsons, Steve Holcombe (Traci) of Murrells Inlet, Kevin Holcombe (Annette) of Florence and Mike Holcombe (Anita) of Murrells Inlet; his grandchildren, Katie, Noah, Colby Gaddy, Jake and Max Holcombe; his niece Jeanaryl Likens (Shawn) of Blossburg; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lysabeth and Olivia; his sister Martha Gaddy Wilkes (Jackie); and his caregivers, Allison Barr, Leslie Brakefield, Leslie Ford, Tiffany Goetz and Kate O'Neil. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

“DEAN WAS A LOYAL FRIEND AND MENTOR TO ME. I HAD A HIGH REGARD FOR ALL THE GADDY FAMILY SINCE FIRST MEETING THEM IN MY EARLY TEENS. HE HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND COULD DELIVER HILLARIOUS JOKES WITH A DEADPAN EXPRESSION. I WILL MISS THIS WONDERFUL FRIEND AND REJOICE THAT HE AND BRAD ARE TOGETHER.”
