It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Dean Lindsey Sr. of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Albert Lindsey, Sr. and Bessie Godfrey Lindsey; his children, Elaine L. McKeown, Shirley Roberts, Larry Ramsey, Bobby Ramsey and Baby Boy Lindsey; and his siblings, William C. Lindsey, Sr., James A. Lindsey, Ralph L. Lindsey, Furman Lindsey, Mini Ballew, Mable Lindsey, Frances Lindsey and Lula Bell Lindsey.
He is survived by: his sons, Dean Lindsey, Jr. (Pauline) and Billy Ramsey (Patricia); his grandson Kenneth Ramsey (Shannon); his daughter Trish Jennings; his children-in-law, John P. McKeown and Judy Ramsey; and his grandchildren, Lisa M. Burrell, Brandy M. Lindsey and Dean Lindsey III. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made in Homer's memory to Agape Hospice of SC, 1326 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
