With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Madison McCrorey Sr. of Chester, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Madison McCrorey and Ruth Atkinson McCrorey; and his wife Patricia Pearson McCrorey. He is survived by: his children, James Madison McCrorey, Jr. and Susan McCrorey Lowe (Brantley) of Richburg, SC.; his grandchildren, Garrison, Madison McCrorey and Josie Lancaster; his great grandchild Gemma McCrorey; his sisters, Ann McCrorey Bargamin and Mary McCrorey Westmoreland (Andy); and his sister-in-law Joyce Lee Hunter.
