He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellie Gaston and Gracie Spence Gaston; and his brothers, Marion Gaston and Eddie Gaston. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Gaston; his children, James "Matt" Gaston (Jennifer) of Chester, Emily Ann Gaston (Dartagnan Manzano) of Chester and Jimmie Lee Talley of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Cody, Egypt, Davonta, Heather and Devon; his stepgrandchildren, Renee, Aleisha and Ashley; and his sister Barbara Reed (Wayne) of Lancaster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
