She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Clarence Aldridge and Pearl Ovada Brown Aldridge; her daughter Erin C. Baker; her grandchildren, Michael Stevenson and Riley Compton; and her siblings, Jesse Lee Aldridge, Donald Clarence "Donnie" Aldridge and Judy Mullinax.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lamar Compton; her children, Barbara Compton of Chester, Sherrie Robinson (Dave) of Fort Mill, Bobby L. Compton, II (Lisa) of Thomasville, NC and Christie Redmond (Tom) of Chester; her grandchildren, Brian, Stephen, Lil Charlie, Megan, Blakelyn, Dell, Kelsey, Brittany, Tripp and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Ben, Jacob, Peyton, Chance, Coree, Gabe, Ember and Riley; and her siblings, Walt Aldridge of Memphis, TN, Ricky Aldridge of Chester, Kathy Drennan (Banks) of Richburg and Terri Aldridge of Richburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
