He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nesbitt Sorrell and Rowena Pendleton Sorrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Whitney Sorrell McCarley (Trey) of Elgin, SC and Jessica Sorrell Stillwell (Jake) of Chester, SC; and his grandchildren, Erin McCarley, Liam McCarley, Lauralee Stillwell and Tripp Stillwell.
