He is survived by: his wife Ruth Miller Hinson; his son Eric Hinson (Wendy) of Chester, SC; his grandchildren, Nathan and Jordan Hinson; and his sister Betty Lou Thompson of Richburg, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
