He was predeceased by : his father Curtis Lewis Haynes; his wife Stephanie Michele Haynes; his brother Matthew Haynes; his sister-in-law Teresa "Terri" Barnum Jones; and his godson Brandon Johnson.

He is survived by : his daughter Tiffany Haynes (Leroy Patrick); his goddaughter Heather Johnson; his brothers, Curtis R., Mark and Lou Hayes; his sister-in-law Carrie James; his grandchildren, Trenten Patrick, Marayah Haynes, Teegen Haynes, Melah Haynes-Wilmore, Quinten Patrick, Devan Johnson, Na'kya Dixon, Alexus Dixon and Shyne Cornwell; and his nieces and nephews, Shuana Williford, Leslie, John, Jacob, Lacy and Leeze Haynes.
