He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Laws and Nellie Smith Laws; his daughter Tina Bryant; and his siblings, David, Jimmy, Wallace, Pete Laws, Beatrice Skinner, Diane Robinson, Katherine Watkins and Eula Mae Laws.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Hembree Laws; and his children, Judy Belinda Laws (Chris) of Chester, SC, Laurie Shugart (Todd) of Catawba, SC, Angel Laws (Todd) of Lando, SC and John Franklin Laws, Jr. (Krissy) of Chester, SC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
