He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Neely Estes, Sr. and Mary Katherine Gregory Estes; his son John Thomas Estes, Jr.; and his brothers, Clarence Neely Estes, Jr. and Larry Hennis Estes.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Rose Estes; his daughter Lynn Walden (Kelli) of Lancaster, SC; his sister Debora Estes Dreher (John); and his sister-in-law Robbie Estes of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
