It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Inman Gibson of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cleveland Inman and Eula McCorkle Inman; her husband Henry David Gibson; her sisters, Betty Jean Lewis and Shirley Diane Inman; and her niece Jean Elizabeth Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, William Scott Inman (Lisa) of Chester, SC, Timothy Wayne Mathis (Kristine) of Chester, SC and Jodie Simon (Matthew Ashley) of Blackstock, SC; and her close friend Freddie Wishert of Chester, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
