He is survived by: his son Doug Cleveland of Chester; his daughter-in-law Valerie Cleveland of Chester; his grandchildren, Jamie Cleveland of Chester and Savana Cleveland of Chester; his great grandchild Kalani Jackson of Chester; his siblings, Opal Shook (Charles) of Hickory, Maggie Briggs Wilmoth (Art) of Hickory, Flossie Fox (Edison) of Burnsville, Willard Briggs (Joan) of Hickory, Kenneth Briggs (Janice) of Burnsville and Howard Briggs of Hickory; and his niece April Ramey (Mike) of Chester. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
