She is survived by: her husband Lee Gardner; her children, Dewitt Welborne (Susan) of Lowrys, SC, John D. Welborn of Columbia, SC, Brian Gardner (Karen) of Chester, SC and Linda Kinnett (Mac) of Blythewood, SC; and her siblings, Marvin Nichols (Carol) of Matthews, NC and Carolyn Caldwell of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Old Purity Cemetery (673 Great Falls Hwy, Chester, SC 29706). Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
