He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Douglas Roberts; his daughters, Alice Kathleen Burriss (Tim) of Sanford, NC, Lynn Spoon (Rick) of Hickory, NC and Peggy Banks (Ace) of Chester, SC; his grandchildren, Sarah Schronce (Adam), Lindsay Barringer (Phillip) and Joel Burriss; and his great grandchildren, Delaney and Lottie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
