She was predeceased by: her husband Sherrill Tucker; her son Barry Alan Tucker; and her parents, Donnie S. Hale and Hazel Owens Hale. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Tucker of Charlotte; and her sister Jackie Owens Cooley of Wilmington, NC..
She also loved donating time and purpose to rescuing pets to new homes.
