It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Waggoner of Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Patricia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Collette McGimsey and Nannie Belle Lee McGimsey; her husband James "Jim" Blackburn Waggoner; and her son James B. Waggoner III. She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Rhonda Waggoner) and Jeanette (Calvin Philpot); and her cousin Kay Loving. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and her great‑grandchildren.
