It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Reid Stephenson (Chester, South Carolina), born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Stephenson and Annie Westmoreland Stephenson; and his grandson Luca Gonzales. He is survived by: his close friend Susan Oates; his daughters, Ashley Brooke Gonzales (Rick) of Rock Hill, SC and Brantlee Stephenson of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Aiden Roberts, Zeb Gonzales, Hayes Rawdon, Lennox Rawdon, Carmen Oates and John Carson Oates; his brothers, Bobby Stephenson (Judy) of Sharon, SC and David Stephenson of Clover, SC; and his aunt Virginia Harris of Sharon, SC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
