With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Remattie Buchanan Walker (Chester, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmira Welch and Thomas Titus; and her sons, Richard Buchanan and Clarence Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Titus, Steve Buchanan (Karen), Hilliard Buchanan (Jurinda), Oscar Buchanan (Beverly), Linda Rahming (Malcolm), Iretha Buchanan and Gretta B. Minton; and her caregivers, Iretha, Linda, Johnnie, Jessie and Angela Otis. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
