She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clarence Lathan and Nannie Brakefield Lathan; her husband Edward R. Hargett; her close friend Ted Cudd; and her siblings, Cecil, Donald, Henry Lathan, Margaret L. Phillips and Dorothy Ann Lathan.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Finch (Kathy Bourgoyne), Todd Finch (Nancy), Derrell Finch (Lindsey) and Lori Waldrep (Marvin); her stepson Eddie Hargett (Sara); her grandchildren, Byron Finch (Brittany), Carolina Walker (Sam), Catherine Linehan (Michael), Addy Kittle (Alex), Cameron Finch (Heather), Emily Finch, Sarah Grier Brumfield (Peyton), Cole Hargett, Peyton Finch, Russi Reynolds (Bill) and Jane Potts; and her great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Haleigh, Gabby of Madisyn, J. B., Sarah, Logan, Rhodes, Grier, Nolan, Nellie and Oakley.
