We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 79, Thomas Hunter of Chester, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Thomas' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Thomas' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Hunter and Mildred Lackey Hunter. He is survived by: his children, John David Hunter of Chester and Christie Hunter of Chester; his siblings, Jimmy of Chester, Alan Hunter of Chester, Rosemary Roberts (Billy) of Chester and Debbie Shook of Chester; and his great grandchild Talia Marie Dewese.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Pollard Funeral Home (115 York St, Chester, SC 29706).
