He is survived by: his wife Dona Gallman McWatters; his children, Jeffery Marion McWatters (Karen) and Lisa McWatters Kerns (Patrick); his grandchildren, Stephanie Amber McWatters, Katie Kerns Lackey (Kyle), Justin Wade McWatters (Elena) and Taylor McWatters Jackson (Seth); and his nieces and nephews, Deborah McCarley (Bill), Janice Resendiz (Phyllis McWatters), Terry Paul and Dean Paul (Natalie).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barron Funeral Home (133 Wylie St, Chester, SC 29706). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chester Freedom Ministries (729 Village Dr, Chester, SC 29706).
