He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rash and Effie Taylor Rash; his wife Patsy Ballard Rash; and his sister Laura Rash Worthy. He is survived by: his children, Darleen Rash Steen (Thomas) of Chester, SC, Tina Rash Guempel (Kliff) of Chester, SC and Tim Rash of Chester, SC; his grandchildren, Chase Steen (Chrissy) of Rock Hill, SC, Lindsey Smith (Jason) of Chester, SC, Travis Baxley (Joy) of Greer, SC and Larry Guempel (Samantha) of Chester, SC; his great grandchildren, Keely Orr, Colt Smith, Maddox, Mason Steen, Silas Guempel and Baby Baxley; his sister Kathleen Scales of Chester, SC; and his sister-in-law Donna Ballard Sharp of Chester, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
