He is survived by: his wife Letricia Turner Watkins; his children, Lisa Brooks (Daryl), Matisha Burch (Randy) and Vernor Alton Watkins; his grandchildren, Alisa Walters (David), Tricia Marlow (Alan), Destyni Vicaire (Brad), Jackson Burch, Hunter Bragg, Gabriel Walters, Tristan Brooks and Wyatt Marlow; and his siblings, Edward Watkins (Janice) and Sarah Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
