With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Kearney (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on August 12, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Arthur and Lula Belle Boring Purvis; her daughter Amber Brewer; her grandchild Chase Kearney; and her brother-in-law Clint Freddell.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Edward Kearney; her children, Matthew Kearney (Marsha) of Deep Creek, NC and Sarah Burkheart (Cody) of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Lettie, Magnus, Caitlain and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Kinley and Presley; and her sisters, Connie Foster (David) of Vero Beach, FL, Tracy Freddell of Burnell, FL and Monica Kletty (Richard) of Vero Beach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
