He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnny Hodge and Jeanette Brock Hodge; his wife Margie Ray Hodge; his daughter Elizabeth "Dete" Roscoe; his granddaughter Hope; his great grandchild Bailey; and his sister Noki.

He is survived by : his children, Sylvia Ray Winburn (Dennis) of McBee, SC, Danny Lee Hodge, Sr. (Sharon) of Ruby, SC and Lisa Ann Hodge (Charles Freeman) of Chesterfield, SC; his siblings, Homer, Rex, Charles, Toby, Louise, Audrey, Betty and Judy; his grandchildren, Stacy, Dawn, Danny Lee, Jr., Daniel, Danielle, Shanda and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Summer, Autumn, Hayden, Austin, Alex, Kamryn, Peyton, Kaitlyn, Abby, Noah, Aubrie, Christina and Christian; and his great great grandchildren, Wade and Attie.
