She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Thomas and Judy Jernigan; her brother Steven Rufus Thomas; and her niece Brittani Thomas. She is survived by : her boyfriend David Baker; her daughter Rachel Blackwell (Preston) of Cheraw, SC; the father of her child James Blackwell of Cheraw, SC; her daughter Jessica Steading of Greenville, SC; her sister Darlene Goebel (Mark) of Manvel, TX; her great-aunts, Thedashia Quick of Cheraw, SC and Margie Pruitt of Cheraw, SC; and her close friend Debra Lomax of Wadesboro, NC.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (318 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
