He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy McCarty and Dorothy Hudson McCarty; and his niece Paulette Froese. He is survived by: his brothers, Mark McCarty (Dianne) of Hartsville, SC, Billy McCarty (Becky) of Casey, SC and Bryan McCarty of Cassatt, SC; his siblings' children, Beth Jones (Phil), James McCarty (Jennifer), Danielle Gwint and Brittany McCarty; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella, Lilly, Peyton, Phillip, Mark and Ezra.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (318 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery (47 Oakland Church Rd, Chesterfield, SC 29709).
