She is survived by: her son Thomas R. "Tony" Newell (Shauna) of Jefferson, SC; her granddaughter Sydney Watkins (Willie); her great grandchildren, Eliza, Wade and Will; her grandson Vince Newell; and her siblings, Richard Pittman and Yvonne Baker.
