It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Dutton Rivers (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Mount Croghan, South Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Dutton and Lucy Katie Rivers Dutton; and her siblings, Harry Dutton, J. T. Dutton, Ronnie Dutton, Graylon Dutton, Hugh Dutton, Barbara McClamrock and Kathy Faulkenberry.
She is survived by: her children, James Calvin Rivers of Bennettsville, SC and Phyllis Rivers Deese of Jefferson, SC; her grandchildren, Mallory Deese of Jefferson, SC, Joshua Deese of Charleston, SC and Jessica Restivo Crawford of Jefferson, SC; her great grandchildren, Renesmee Deese and Isadora Deese; her brother Mitchell Dutton (Cynthia) of Wadesboro, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Dutton, Dean Dutton, Juanita Dutton and Linda Dutton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
