She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernis S. Copeland and Wincie Pauline Hancock Copeland; her husband Leonard Benovitz; and her son Danny Copeland Benovitz. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Benovitz (James) of Elizabethtown, NC and Michella Baxter (Darrin) of Elizabethtown, NC; her grandchildren, Laura Benovitz (Geoff), Lynsay Baxter (Stacey), Seth Baxter (Sierra) and Jayson Baxter; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Madelyn, Connor, Raelynn and Emory Jane.
