With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Jones Sr. (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Grady John; his wife Sara; his son Dr. John, Jr. of Monroe, N. C.; his grandchildren, Houston Jones, Lydia Jones and Sara Isobel Jones; and his siblings, Hubert Jones, Ilee Lee, Jackie Bucher, Weldon Jones and Mary Wade.

He is survived by : his siblings, Ira Snead of Spartanburg, S. C and Shirley Macklin (A. W.) of Raleigh, N. C.. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law, many well-loved nieces and nephews, and special cousins.
