He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Purvis and Ruby Lee Johns Purvis; his wife Kathy Ann Purvis; his brother William Barney Purvis; and his nephews, Mark Alan Purvis and Joe Purvis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Purvis (Melba) of Thomasville, NC, Frances Purvis of Chester, SC and Nancy Henry (Mike) of Chester, SC; his caregiver Pauline Hurst; and his nephews, Chris Purvis, Mike Henry II and Charles L. Purvis, Jr..
Survivors include his siblings, Charles (Melba) Purvis of Thomasville, NC; Frances Purvis of Chester, SC; and Nancy (Mike) Henry of Chester, SC; special aunt of the heart and devoted caregiver, Pauline Hurst; nephews, Chris Purvis, Mike Henry II, and Charles L.
