He is survived by: his children, Johnny Chad Melton of Jefferson, SC and Sharon Thompson of Pageland, SC; his grandchild Drake Melton (Kylie Hendrix) of Jefferson, SC; his children, Johnathan Melton (Brianna Blackmon) of Jefferson, SC and Emily Thompson (Austin Wallace) of Pageland, SC; his great grandchildren, Colton Arant and Chelsea Wallace; his grandson Waylon; and his siblings, Wayne Melton (Beth), Don Melton (Kay), Marie Butler (Steven) and Arlene McCaskil (Jackie).
