With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kirby Marion Purvis (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ann Roscoe Gainey; and his stepfather Earl Gainey. He is survived by: his sister April Purvis (Andy Jackson) of Florence, SC; his daughter Kameron Purvis (Donald Stubbs) of Charleston, SC; his aunt Aronica (Bennie Teal) of Chesterfield, SC; and his friends, Aron, Carmen Craver Joyce Charles, Danny, Rita Bullin, Brant Watts, Becky Watkins and Ray Howell.
In honor of Kirby's memory, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Cancer Services of Davidson County in Lexington, NC, an organization close to his heart.
