She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Tucker and Odell Curtis Tucker; her husband David "Ted" Eugene Phillips, Jr.; her siblings, Sam Tucker and Mickey Rivers; and her brother-in-law Ed Rivers.
She is survived by: her children, Kristie Long (Kenneth) of Rockingham and David Eugene Phillips III of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Justin, Austin Long, Rachel, Abby and Megan Phillips; her brother Dean Tucker of Chesterfield, SC; and her sister-in-law Idette Tucker of Florence, SC..
