He is survived by: his wife Peggy Emanuel; his children, James Emanuel (Pam) of Pageland, SC, Joyce Gathings (Keith) of Cheraw, SC and Sarah Emanuel (Brady); his grandchildren, John Gathings (Lindsey) of Florence, SC, Michaela Gathings (Jessica) of Cheraw, SC, Jessica Whitt (Coty) of Lexington, KY and Drew Williamson of Ashland, KY; and his siblings, Jean Daniels (Clyde) of Laurinburg, SC and Lucy Starling of Cheraw, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
