With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maynard Tarleton (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Cheraw, South Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maynard Tarleton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Braxton and Viola Wallace Tarleton; his son Tracy Tarleton; and his siblings, Margaret Jones, Alvin "Bobo" Tarleton and Kenneth "K. T." Tarleton.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Tarleton; his sons, Trevor Kale Tarleton of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kelly Twain Tarleton (Michelle Hoover) of Charleston, SC; and his grandchildren, Trace Manning Tarleton of Charleston, SC and Carmen Amelia Tarleton of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
