Sims (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Jefferson, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Jenkins and Rosie Jenkins; her husband Billy K. Sims; her sisters, Thelma J. Smothers and Johnnie J. Steen; her brothers-in-law, Harold Steen and Ora Smothers; her great grandchildren, Michael Grooms and River Sanders; and her son-in-law Cecil Grooms.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda S. Jenkins (Randy) of Mt. Croghan, SC, Kathy Grooms of Cheraw, SC and Angela Faulkenberry (Junior) of Ruby, SC.; her grandchildren, Richard Jenkins (Stacy), Brad Jenkins (Candace), Billy Jenkins, Josh Jenkins, Kristi Grooms, Danielle Johnson (Brian), Whitney Sanders (Alan), Samantha Norton (Corbin), Chase Faulkenberry (Caitlin), Jason Faulkenberry and James Faulkenberry; her great grandchildren, Kendal Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins (Kyla), Elizabeth Hayes, Dalton Jenkins, Luke Sanders, Harper Sanders, Abel Sanders, Kirkleigh Norton, Battle Norton, Luka Faulkenberry, Jonah Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Blake Johnson, Gracie Johnson, Owen Johnson, Ella Kate Johnson, Austin Faulkenberry, Alivia Faulkenberry and Mason Faulkenberry; her great great grandchildren, Bentley, Everette Jenkins and Walker Jenkins; her niece Tammy Allen (Billy); her nephews, Tim Steen and Glenn Smothers; and her friends, Patricia Covington and Linda Owens.
