He is survived by: his mother Rose Ann Rutan of Chesterfield, SC; his children, Cory Ray Rutan (Kristie) of Chesterfield, SC and Thomas Scott Rutan of Chesterfield, SC; his grandchildren, Thomas James Rutan and Wyatt Adams; and his brother Stephen Thomas Rutan of Chesterfield, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (293 Zoar Rd, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
