She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Jim" Kirby and Ella Maude Freeman Smith; her siblings, Bill, Jack, Rex, Glenn, Garland Smith, Lois Parks and Carolyn Coley; and her sons, Jeffrey Neil Hurst and Ernest Dale Hurst.
She is survived by : her husband Eugene Hurst; her children, Dawn Funderburk (Robbie) of Ruby, SC and Leslie Hurst (Gail) of Chesterfield, SC; and her grandson Cody Funderburk of Ruby, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
