He is survived by: his wife Judy Roberts Purvis; his children, Mark Christopher Purvis, Sr. (Jenny) of Cheraw, SC and Sherry Sellers (Clayton) of Ruby, SC; his grandchildren, Mark Purvis, Jr. of Cheraw, SC, Emily Young (Brayden) of Bessemer City, NC, Melany Gaymon (Kevin) of Cheraw, SC, Blake Jackson (Kaitlyn) of Anderson, SC, Jake Sellers of Ruby, SC and Luke Sellers of Ruby, SC; his great grandchildren, Grier Jackson of Anderson, SC and Brooks Gaymon of Cheraw, SC; and his sister Jenny Hicks of Society Hill, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
