He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Kneece Smith; and his parents, John Smith and Vinnie Hall Smith. He is survived by: his sister Rachel Story; his grandchildren, John Michael Smith (Amanda), Summar Smith and Juanita Flynn (Matt); his great grandchildren, Jessica Bown, Shelby Bown, Miranda Flynn, Kai Larson and Haley Briceno (Julian); and his great great grandchild Rylee Warner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lakeside Baptist Church (4280 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Clearwater, SC 29842). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
