He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hughes, Sr. and Helen Hughes; his stepmother Cathy Hughes; and his son Weston Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hoskins-Hughes; his daughter Jill Hughes Cothran (Mark Cothran); and his grandchildren, Major Cothran and Lily Mae Cothran.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601).
