He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clair Meadors and Kate Watkins Meadors; his wife Betty Anne Campbell Meadors; and his siblings, James Meadors, Charles Meadors, Ellen Meadors, Earline Ficklin, Louise Armstrong and Anne Bagwell.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Meadors (Nancy) and Karen Windsor (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Bryan Meadors (Snowe) of Reidville, Russell Meadors (Ashley) of Simpsonville, Katherine Harmon (Brian) of Fountain Inn, Elliott Windsor of Greenville, Julie Whaley (Ken) of Piedmont and Jeffrey Windsor of Gray Court; his sister Ruby Meadors Lanford; Margaret "Tootsie" Benjamin of Athens and Georgia. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davidson Street Baptist Church (700 Davidson St, Clinton, SC 29325). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
