He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Farmer Whelchel; his children, Jody Whelchel and Buffy Osborne (Monty); his grandchildren, Taylor Estes and Bailey Faulkner (Shayne); his great grandchildren, Averie Estes and Dallas Faulkner; and his caregivers, Lisa, Gwen, Natasha, Tamra and Theresa.
